Teaching With Technology

Technology is a fantastic way to keep students engaged and interested in what you are teaching.  For example, it is much more fun to incorporate an activity on the Smart Board than it is to sit at your desk and do a worksheet.  I am a student who learns by seeing and doing.  It is not enough just to tell me about something.  This is where technology comes into play as a tool for assisting.  It is very important that teachers stay up to date on current technology and learn how to integrate them into their lessons.  Not only are you using devices from their generation that they understand, but you are also allowing them to grow as a person as well.  Not to mention, at the end of the day you have just made your life so much easier.  So work smarter, not harder, and incorporate technology.
